Whether read the Bible online or from a book, the best way is to read it in book order.
Read this verse.
Acts 2:42
It tells the FOUR important things that the early believers persevered in. Do those four things and you’ll be fine. Picking one or two to elliminate is like deciding which tires are not needed on your race car.
Do all four.
someone would be happy to assist you in a free home bible study
that is exactly y we need church so we can hear the word being preached by someone who knows how to interpret the word by the holy spirit guiding them who preach it – peace be with u

This site has free bible software and a number of free study guides and aids.
As far as where to start, it is common for Christians to recommend beginning in the book of John and continue from there through the New Testament. This is how I started, and I have read the bible through a few times. From there you can build a foundation for New Testament faith, and take the Old Testament for both historical and parallel value, with Israel as a picture of an individual believer.
You could start doing subject study, Study out, peace, then love, then just keep going. Here is one I go to;

Hi Dianah,
Some good websites where you can find devotionals are:
http://www.blueletterbible.org
You can also go to Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale’s website (or any of the other Calvary Chapels) and they usually have resources that they send you including monthly devotionals.
You can also go to Christian Bookstores and they often sell guides to study individual books of the Bible.
A lot of times starting in the book of John is a very common thing- along with reading a Psalm or Proverb. At first when you read – you may not always understand everything- but i think it’s now how much you know but what do the things you understand and know mean in your day-to-day life.
Feel free to email if you ever have any questions about the Bible. Also watchtower.org (is the site for Jehovah’s Witnesses) and they read a different translation of the Bible called the New World Translation.

Yes, go to http://www.bjnewlife.org
Here you will find the truth and the original gospel Jesus gave to mankind.
There are tons of websites that would love to help you study the bible, but very few are well versed on what was really going on 2000 years ago… that is still quite mysterious.
The common gospel we here these days: “Christ died for our sins” comes from Paul/Saul, who was the one who terrorized the first Christians (acts 7:58 to 8:3) and then after Christ was gone, went on to declare himself an apostle!
If you are interested in what Christ was actually saying and teaching the people (the Kingdom Gospel) this is a good, easy to understand resource on the subject: http://gospelenigma.com
Other than that, I would strongly urge you to focus on the 4 gospels first… because after all, Christ was the founder of the whole thing, and his words should be at the heart of any study. That’s the way I look at it anyway.
i know what you mean and i can tell you that the one of the ways that you can read, understand and not get bored with reading the bible, then you need to start from the beginning so you will start reading form Genesis then that will help you to know how things started and i can tell you that you might not understand it just by reading it once, because even me i don’t know how many times o have read mine but every time i read something that i have read before i always come up with new understanding, or deeper understanding.
Genesis 1:1
Some say, “The Bible is absolute literal, truth exactly as it came to the prophets.”
But not all of the experts make this claim. Many others question the validity and authenticity of the translations, manuscripts and scrolls.
Some claim it is no longer even relevant, after all, times have changed the world is different today.
Christian and Jewish scholars even say the original is lost forever and today we do not even have a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of the original manuscripts.
Some even doubt the Bible was actually from God in the first place, attributing the writings to well meaning people from milleniums ago.

Start at the Gospel of John and work your way through from there. Personally I find the N.K.V. of the Bible the best. When you are ready for deeper study go to the completely free (no strings attached) sight at the”source” below. At that site you can obtain help if you want it. You can study by subject or by verse. You can also do a free diploma course in the Bible. Everything you could want is there. – God Bless.
Yes, http://www.watchtower.org
You can read The New World Translation Of The Holy Scriptures. And also find other interesting bible publications that will assist you in your understanding of the bible.
Better still if you follow the site you can contact the Branch closest to where you live and they will organize someone to come to your place and give you a free home bible study. This can be very helpful. You can also ask as many questions that you like. Have a look at the site and keep us posted as to what you thought.
start in the book of john
